i just finished watching this surprise movie for me. i thought this movie was nothing but artsy fartsy stuff but it ain't. a nice love story with some shocking moments and it's a nice change of pace from the cliche crap lovestories out there.
i don't know whether to feel sorry for adam sandler's character or feel some weirdness towards him. emily watson is awesome in this movie and the whole thing is just well made.
i'ts not really something i would buy on dvd to watch over and over again but it was a nice view though. i'm sure this movie didn't make much at the theatres. movies like these always don't. unless it is heavily advertised. but other than that, really great stuff. really sad, happy, actually all emotions at times
whatya guys think? |

i thought it was fantastic. i saw it in the theater and i never go to the movies. i laughed out loud several times and it moved me too. one of the best movies i've seen in a while, so good i'll probably buy it. |

excellent movie. some artsy stuff in there, but it was really funny and clever.
An interesting perspective on modern-day relationships. |

it's all about the pudding.
it starts off weird, you really think its going to be something artsy and deep, with the piano, the airmiles, etc. but it really caught me off guard and surprised me. |

i really liked this movie, but most of the people that i have seen it with, didnt really like it. i think its a really good movie and not just some cookie cutter fluff produced to make money. |

Yea really liked this one too, a love story that is really different and creative, not something you see very often. I think it helped my viewing experience a lot that I saw it in the smallest part of the my local cinema, it is very intimate and has very exclusive furnishing, perfect for movies like this one.
Good to see Adam Sandler doing well in a more serious role too, he really manages to bring out all the frustration and other issues that his character has to deal with in the movie. I particularly liked the way he just stood up and said "I'm not gonna take this anymore!", really made an impression on me. |

:haha: :haha:
This movie is fantastic!
I just love how it's so unpredictable and how Barry Egan just flips out and busts things :haha: These destruction scenes cracked me up so hard.
I love how he's trying to get free frequent flyer miles....
The whole movie is just brilliant |
