my office is freezing. i hate that i have to bring a sweater to work because i'll shiver to death otherwise. but i can't dress warmly because it's AT LEAST 90 degrees outside and i'll be a drippy, stinking mess by the time i walk the two blocks from my parking garage to the office.

don't get me wrong, i love air conditioning. i just prefer it in moderation because i hate goosebumps and shivering in AUGUST.

why dont u ask them to turn it up a bit? or is it one of those weird arrangments where ur office isnt even in control of the damn thing cos the controls are way over sumwhere else in the building? classrooms at my college are sumtimes like that :p

I dunno about where you're at, but in England, if the temperature drops below 19 degrees centigrade in the workplace, you can legally go home and the company still has to pay you till they fix the air con! Great eh!!!

Unless you work in freezers at -25. Lousy Sainsburys...

And how about Siberia, during winter... LMAO.

My great grandfather was held at a prison there, by Stalin. He was lucky enough to survive that. He had told the family about how bad it was... (Prior to the time that he spent in the Stalin prison, he was inprisoned in a concentration camp... Lucky for him, it was liberated).
