nope .. australia was on the dark side of the earth when that photo was shot... North america and South america are the only continents visible in that picture... =).. I think i see where i've lived my whole life.. its one pixel on that image... space is so fascinating. It's almost hard to not choke on the mere thought of the insignificance of the entire planet... size wise anyways.. who knows, perhaps our planet harbours the only intelligent life in the universe. That makes us pretty damn important even if we are tiny.. I believe there are other things out there.. The universe is like a gigantic ocean, and we are a little piece of plankton.. what are the chances we are going to float into another piece of plankton as special as us in our existence.. slim =) |
