i'm posting for a friend, who registered some time ago but his account hasn't been activated yet.
He's young, 16yo, living in Scotland.
His new track To Live (A Dream) is available at
http://www.soundclick.com/bands/5/djfrewmusic.htm
Feedback appreciated, he'll read though he can't post for now.
The track is really worth a listen, some potential there imo. |

Well, I can never get soundclick to work for me. If one of you two would like to send me it another way I'd be more than happy to listen. :)
Always helps if you go and review other people's music too. ;) |

Background synth playing the really long notes doesn't fit in the mix very well...it's too downtempo. FX before breakdown are nice, but overdone. That synth that comes in at 1:00 is really annoying.
Not much flow between (1:00-1:30) and (1:30 - 2:00)...it doesn't make much logical sense to separate them out like that. Instead of smoothly blending them together, they're presented one at a time then thrown together in a blender.
Eh, sorry. Only thing I liked was the bassline, but even then it's not very original. |
