Issit really genes.My bro's 6'3.(around 192 cm)I'm about 6'(181)

I'm 18,I wanna grow taller.my growth spurt was around 17.Does playing Basketball really helps?I usually play football(soccer).

I wanna grow another 2-3 inches.I'm going to the gym about 2 times a week nowadays, but I'm afraid this might hinder my growth rate.Is this true?

go to some specialist doctor, have them break your legs, then get wee splint type things to hold them in the correct position, but about 2 mm apart
your legs then join up over the gap.

..something like that.. but i'm e at wording stuff :D

They only do that for midgets. I mean dwarfs. I mean little people. I mean wee men.

Nope, prosthetic hydraulic adjustable superlegs are the only way to go. It's expensive but well worth the hidden handgun in the side of the thigh.

On actually saying something useful:

Working out hindering you growth rate is a myth.

LOL, you don't grow taller by playing a certain sport.

I am 6'8", partly because of genes (my dad is about 6'4", my mom only 5'8") since my sister is about 6'1", but also because of nutrition. When I was younger (I am 18 now) I ate a lot of dairy products, those help you grow like a mother******. At one point our doctor told my mom to stop feeding me dairy products because I was growing too fast. I was bout 6' when I was 11 years old. Obviously I didn't stop eating dairy products, you need those for a healthy diet.

Can't give you any tips, but at 18 years old most people are done growing.

- Genes play an important role.
- Too much exercise can hinder your growth
- Most medicines help increase growth if you have a disease, not just because "you want to be taller"
- You're already tall enough, why do you want to grow even more? It may be unconfortable.

Look, i'm 18, I think i can grow a few inches more(hopefully),why not grow taller.

And no its not uncomfortable cause i dont see any problems in being tall anyways(not too tall(6foot 8 and above is a wee bit too much).Besides.. i'm thinking of going out with this chick but shes almost as tall as me and usually tall girls go out with even taller guys.

I sincerely doubt you can change anything to that, unless you wish to resort to some kind of advanced plastic surgery, but then is it really worth it ?

Tough when I think of it I know that if your a body builder and work out a lot you tend to "expend" instead of growing up, wich is why you see a lot of heavely muscular man very small.. so I dunno if its your case but you might wanna avoid that if it was inm you plans :P

Ps: your 18, your not done growing, give it some time

pumping iron to bulk on muscle will fuze your growth plates together and stunt your growth... how long ago did you start doing weights?
