Pontiac G6...Anybody?

We're getting a new car and we stopped by the Pontiac dealer yesterday. He told us about the new Pontiac G6. I've seen commercials for it and the brochure that the dealer gave us gave my parents and I a good impression. Unfortunately they aren't getting any G6's until next week so we're going to have to wait till then to test drive.
Has anybody heard anything about this car? Good, bad? |

| Isn't that the replacement for the Grand Am? That's about all i know about it (the Grand am is nice, so I imagine the G6 will be nice also) |

| Looks nice, but I'd be wary of buying a Pontiac. They are known to have electrical problems. I myself have a Grand Prix and all the gauges are ed. |

GOOD GOD, STAY AWAY FROM PONTIAC!
They're electrical nightmares, made out of plastic, look REALLY bad sitting next to nice cars in parking lots, etc.
Just buy a Toyota or a Nissan or something. Same price range. MUCH nicer vehicles. |

True dat. American cars are horrible. Yes yes, help the economy blah blah blah. I would rather have a reliable car then "support." |

nah, support America - Buy a Pontiac GTO
(They are actually Australian:D ) Apparently they don't look that great over there, look awesome over here (slight differences, especially in wheels and ride height) But they drive great! |

| Get the new Toyota Scion 2 door coupe. That thing is pretty good looking for the price. My friend just bought one, I wouldn't mind driving it. |

| We have an '03 Grand Prix and it rocks. Had no problems with it whatsoever. Nice car. |

| I'd rather have a Mazda 6 or even a Mazda 3 than that car. The look reminds me of that Pontiac Sunfire too much, which was a horrid looking car. |
