U2 cover Kraftwerk on new single -
U2 have recorded a cover of Kraftwerk's 'Neon Lights' as one of the B-sides on their new single, 'Vertigo'.
NME.com reports that the Irish band's version of the electronic track was produced by Steve Lillywhite and recorded at Dublin's Hanover Quay Studios.
Other B-sides on the single, to be released on 8 November, are a new song called 'Are You Gonna Wait Forever?' and a Jack Knife Lee remix of the title track.
The single will be released on two CDs and a DVD single, featuring a video for the song.

should be interesting.....i am a bit skeptical. U2 covered slightly in a live version another one of my favourite bands (joy division). i was happy with it, so hopefully this will go good as well. *fingers crossed* |
