Should I even go to college?

After stressing out over applications, letters of recommendation from teachers, and touring colleges all over the country in order to find the one I really want to go to, a thought crossed my mind.
What if I didnt go to college?
What would I be able to do in my life if I just didnt go? There are a lot of people out there who have become extremely successful, and yet didnt set one foot in a single college classroom in their entire life.
Its probably not a good idea, but it'll be fun to discuss.
What would become of me if I decided not to attend college? |

You better go dammit. Guess you must be same age as my second son. His ass is going to college whether he likes it or not. If he drops out, it's on him, but at least he'll be removed from home and ain't coming back if he makes that decision.

unless you have an extremely innovative idea, like Bill Gates or one of those rich people you are referring to, I suggest you starting getting those apps ready and booking flights for tours |

I dunno, my grade 8 teacher said that if he could go back in time he would have become a plumber, because his brother did, and makes over double what he makes annually (and my grade 8 teacher was also the vice principal.) |

I graduated highschool with like a 65% overall avg.. So ofcourse i got into the trades. You want to quit life? work in the trade.. I bet your teachers are telling you its great money and theres always work. Its great money if you work 70 hours a week (which they usually expect).. and at the moment ALOT of our Canadas work is being outsourced to China because its cheaper. I'm a CNC operator (computer numeric control) and in the last year I haven't work less than 50 hours a week. I've been in the trade for 2 years now and want to die. Im 21.
