Logitech z5500 PC Speakers

I tested a set of them at a retail outlet earlier today.
I can safely say that they are the clearest, most powerful component speakers I have ever heard.
I'm going to sell my 5300s to a friend for $100 and shell out another $180 on top of that to get a set from NewEgg. :D |

| well- I haven't tried the 5500s, but my 5300s are a bit dissappointing. Sure, I really loved them in the beginning, but I went out and bought some Altec Lansing speakers (maybe for like $40). These speakers are amazing... the acoustics sounds so much crisper and cleaner than my 5300. So I'm starting to have my doubts on Logitech, but it's a little too late espicially after dissing out so much money on 'em. |

if they are anything like the Z-680's, the 5500's should be more than swell.
i have a 700w Onkyo reciever plugged in to my board with some (ok) JBL satellites and an old Velodyne sub. it rocks. |

I think the klipsch desctop speakers owns the most when it comes to desctop speakers !!
But if you want more power (like me) you buy the real stuff,
receiver: Harman/Kardon avr 330 2*70/7*55
dvd player: Pioneer 370 (I know its )
front speakers: Jamo d590
rear speakers : jamo e530
tv: loewe calida 33" 100hz
and cables from nordost and proson's super hifi serie |

Oh no, here we go again. Two of these bad boys @400W each with a splitter off of the audio card = 800W is about all that Homey can take!! The potential volume is absolutely ABSURD.....
Don't get rid of !!!! Just buy a splitter and expand existing capabilities you fool!
