looking for computer engineers

| hi, how many of you are computer experts? i need help with my pc, the system restore utility isnt working, and i cant start my computer. i get a message at startup, "error loading operating system". when i put in the recovery cd, the recovery process stops and displays a message "disk access: sense operation failed", and then it restarts and the same thing happens again and again. i have a sony vaio desktop pc, model pcv-rx850. if anyone here can help me i would appreciate it. thanks.:) |

hey thanks alot. but i dont think ill be giving it for service, bcuz first of all, it costs too much, secondly, i dont have warranty. anyways thanks.;) |

| is SMART enabled in the bios? might be worth enabling it if it isn't....at least that might tell you if the hdd's knackered. |

Reflash your BIOS (see your MB instruction book). If that don't do and you can't see your HD in BIOS Utility, looks like the HD went south. But since you're on the Internet posting, doesn't look like this is your main computer anyhow...
