Ok,
I received a new 250 gb Western Digital Hardrive for Christmas and after installing it, my total space on my c:\ drive is 130 gb. Where did my other 120 go, or why doesn't it show the total? Has anyone had this problem before?

your OS did it .. what OS are you running by the way?? XP? .. i think the default MAX HDD is like 137 GB .. something like that .. you can change it to a full 250 GB for one HD .. western digital should have provided you a "Lifeguard" cd to help you initialize your HD to 250 GB so your BIOS can recognize it .. if not, then probably your BIOS can't take it .. you just need to create 2+ partitions on your HDD if that happens |
