One of my friends, who's using IE6, can't view any of the trance addict pages, including main, video, or new tracks sections. What he sees is "page cannot be displayed." He has java and active X enabled and has no trouble viewing other sites that use vBulletin or php.

Do you guys have any suggestions? Do you know of anyone else having a similar problem? He really wants to visit the site. He's a registered user and used to be able to visit here without problems.

Strange Problem, mayb some wrong configuration?!

tell him to try and lower his security settings, maybe that will help

i've also heard from many ppl. that IE 6 has been giving them problems, i really think that IE6 is actually meant for windows XP...so if he really wants to see tranceaddict so bad, tell him to just do with IE5 or sum other browser for now

peace

Thanks, guys. After posting this thread, I started to have the same problem, and I used other browsers and changed settings with no luck.

But then it hit me. The problem was caused by my ISP's DNS server. Somehow, the DNS server could not resolve host names. Sooo, I went to anonymizer site and could view tranceaddict that way. I told my friend about this, and his problem was solved this way. Now, he can read tranceaddict. But since the anonymizer site does not allow cookies, I couldn't post my reply last night.

Now, everything is a-okey for me. If you hear a similar story, please recommend to use some anonymizer type site or free-dial up service site since they have their own DNS servers. Proxies might work, too.

Thanks again!
