Tooth Extraction

| I'm having a tooth (just a regular molar) pulled Monday. They're sedating me slightly and numbing me up. How much pain am I going to feel during and after the prodcedure? :l |

| Well I'm aware there will be pain, but not sure how bad. I hate tooth pain. |

from what i remember when i got one of my teeth pulled, it didn't hurt too much. the extraction itself was mild. i think the main deal is there is going to be the fact that the tissue is so sensitive afterwards that anything touching it will get hurt, wether it's heat/cold, pressure. also when you chew, the teeth around it will cause some pain.
plus, forget about eating nachos for a while on that side of the mouth |

| i had a tooth pulled when i got my braces on, they pulled it out in one shot, i loved it. felt weird at first, but the drugs made it sooooooo good. |

Ah yeh, another question.
I went in for a consultation for my tooth removal about tweo weeks ago. I've got this large bump (it sticks out close to 1cm) on my gum right by the tooth which is being pulled. According to him it is not an abcess, but it sure as hell looks like one. It's really hard when I touch it and hurts slightly. What could it be? I'm guessing the dentist was just wrong? |

| If you’re being properly sedated you’ll feel high as a kite. Don’t know what they use where you live, but here, for dental sedations they use an opiate derivative which is much stronger than street heroin. :eyespop: |

it actually duesnt hurt, i got my wisdom teeth out and ate a fatty steak the next day.
the problem is, they stick it in teh pooper :( |
