well i went to see Flightplan this weekend and to top off a great movie, i came out and saw a poster for Saw 2. I abosolutely LOVED the first saw and i can't wait to see this one.
For those who didn't see the original Saw, it's basically about a plethora of mind games played by a serial killer through a series of VERY BRUTAL and VERY VIOLENT objectives one must complete to survive.
I remember seeing the 'Amanda' trailer and being HOOKED. i then went on to download a cam from some film festival where it was being screened. then the official trailer came out, then i was able to pick up a screener. Finally the film came out in theaters and i saw it twice. believe me, i LOVED this film. Of course, the unrated DVD release sent me over the edge.
so upon seeing the poster, i went home and visited saw2.com. I downloaded the trailer, which seemed more like a teaser. It didn't really get me all fueled up, but the fact that saw 2 is coming out is just bliss for me.
i checked out the directors blog and i think this was funny:

That's right guys... the lights were off today, and we (myself and the sound guys) were watching reels of the movie for sound issues, and one of the sound guys MARK, turns to me with a disgusted look on his face, "that's wrong..."
"What's wrong" I ask.
"This scene... It's wrong... You are sick and this scene is twisted!" and with that he exited the theater!!!
I couldn't help but smile, but he was 100% right, the scene was wrong!!! Even to this day as I watch it, I too am a little disgusted! But that is the joy of making a horror movie... Making scenes were you have to stop and wonder... What will people think of this - will I offend someone with what I have just done?
Oh well... I offended Mark, and that's good enough for me!

i'm looking for as much information as i can on this film, but i honestly haven't been able to discover more than i can than on the official website.

| teaser/trailer/preview... same thing :p the first one wasn't too bad, will check out the second one just not on top of things to do. |

? but the censored and uncensored sections of the site do nothing for me except show the really fast words : Two men chained to the wall. how much blood will you spill to save your own?" is it loading something that my 56k is too slow to show for me?
+ i've read that there is a secret video the site. I'm guessing the site is in flash, so i guess a Flash decompiler would ease the search.
Seems like this movie is turning into a Cube-esque series.
Cube started out as another low budget film (bad acting as well) about a group of random people placed in a huge puzzle, along with fatal consequences if they make a mistake. as the film progresses they try and figure out why they were chosen and eventually something about places in society. the movie went on to start a cult following and several sequels |
