Ok, so this is really pissin me off now...
I was given a sony Xplod sub and amp as a gift for helping someone out, but i have a problem....
My cd changer is mounted to the back of my seat in the boot (trunk). On the right is my amp and in front of that is my sub. Its not touching the back seat.
Promlem is that when i turn the volume up to a decent level it makes the CD jump. Most of the cds are burnt on CDRs. The branned is "Infiniti"...
So do u think it could just be ty CDs or that i'll have to move the CD changer underneath my seat or something?

It's possible that the Subwoofer being near to the CD Changer, Is whats causing the skipping cause of the vibrations of the bass, You might try moving the CD Changer somewhere thats away from the Subwoofer.

When i play normal CDs it doesnt skip as much. But on the "Infiniti" CDRs it skips like its been dragged along to floor :sadgreen:

Purhaps the CDRs you use aren't good quality ones, Check for scratches on them also.

i have a car audio question myself.

i just took my cd player out because i was doing something to it. I hooked it back up and everything, but i get no FM or AM channels, it's just static. i checked to make sure the antenna is plugged in and that all the wires are connected. They are. i reset my player and still nothing.

i'm lost

If that includes the subs and speakers then i would say yes. If you already have the speakers and he's just charging you for installation, HELL NO! To change out speakers it's easy. i give it a difficult rating of 2 out of 10. I would install the the speakers myself, and then hire somebody to install the subs. The reason being is that if you don't have the power cable for going through the firewall already then it can be a pain. If you already have a the power cable going through the firewall... do it your damn self.

that install will cost you nowhere near $350.

er...

includes speakers/subs/installation

so its a good deal then.

sweet :)

a new head unit and wire conversion adapter
speakers (and tweeters if going for that too)
Subwoofer
Amplifer. possibly 2 depending on your setup to power the speakers and the Sub. tweeters can be powered through the head unit.
Amplifer kit, to include fuse, remote wire, power cables etc etc etc
a long RCA plug for the sub
