when your at a bar trying to order drinks.
and there are people there sitting/standing in your way.
they see your attempting to order drinks and they dont move.
there are few things more rude to me.
i mean, do u stand at a grocery store register blocking the way ??
no.
i swear to god i just want to take a knife and slide it in their neck.
right in the middle, above the collar bone.
its subtle way of death, just like their ing rudeness.

i never have a problem at the bar.
generally making solid eye contact with the bartender gets him/her to me.
and at bars where i know the bartenders, yea.
its no problem then.
but there are allot of bars, and i drink allot.
and i dont know all bartenders.
tho there should be a handout about me and whayt i like.

I hate some barmen.
I went to this bar once when on holiday,I go this same place annually, and at this bar they asked me for my ID, so when I gave it them,they wrote my details down on a booklet they kept under the bar,I asked why and the lady told me its a record to show the police that they do ID people, I said fine, and she said that I didn't need to carry my ID in the bar anymore,as I could just say my name on the list,and that they'd serve me no questions.
I go out the next night (9pm), and I ask this one certain barman for a drink,he serves me without asking for ID, then, after a few more drinks served by other staff,I get served by the barman from before,and he asks for my ID!! :whip: :whip: :whip:
I said they had me on the thingy,and he said it was no use,he wasn't allowed to use it.
So, I leave to get my ID.
20minutes later,I'm back with ID,and a temper.
I ranted at the manager about the incompetance of his staff,and he apologised... ALOT!
Apparently,he was right,he isn't allowed to use the board,as it isn't a form of ID, I apparently could say any name on the list. :wtf:
HOW ON EARTH?I CANNOT SEE THE LIST I DONT KNOW WHAT NAMES ARE ON THERE!!!???
So,I told him he needs to have a word with the dude anyway,as he served me thinking I was underage :stongue:
He got pwnd! I saw it.
Then the next night,big night, alot of people round the bar,and he asks what I'm having, but, me being observant, said "theres a couple over their *points* that have been waiting for alot longer than me".
He said "I'm serving you, what are you having?" in the hardest voice, I told him to get over it and give me a beer and whatever they were having hahaha.
He was obviously pissed,and for the rest of the week on holiday I complained to his manager about him for his obvious stupidity.
The night before I left he saw me chatting with the manager *I know him pretty well* and he when served me next he offered to put extra ingredients in my pitcher to make it stronger and taste better.
I agree'd, and it was strong sweet stuff, but I didn't tip, he gave me crap all week.:wtf: |

| Nice story man. I think it proves that staff in foreign countries treat tourists pretty badly. I was waiting at the bar for at least 15 minutes in Bedrock for a drink. Seriously. An that aint a big bar. |

| that's why i never sit at the bar - i get my drink and move out of the way so others can. i often find it a pain in the ass if people don't do the same too. |

I know this is the wrong thing to do but if I get ignored by a bartender I just don't tip them or very badly.
One of the worse memories I have was waiting to order drinks for 20 ~ 25 minutes and having 5 or so different people ( they all showed up after I started waiting wtf ) cutting in front of me placing group orders so 5 X 3 or so drinks well that's why I waited a long ass time.
I finally order my various mixed drink and stuff ( maybe 60 bucks or so I think ) and ask for water .... the bartender gets me a plastic cup and serves me and I say no I want a bottle ( I assumed he'd get me a bottle in the first place )and he got all pissy. :conf: :wtf: I'm giving extra money to your business and you're not happy. I think I gave a 2 dollar tip.
Stupid mofos.
Maybe I should be under the assumption that because I don't dress mega trendy clubbish the bartenders feel I'll just order a budweiser and leave 25 cent tip :conf: so they prefer to have me at the back of the line?:conf: :conf: :conf: :conf:
Don't get me wrong if I get good service I'll tip real well but if I get horrid service I'm paying almost nothing. ( I tipped 7 bucks on a 3 dollar bottle of water once that's how generous I can get :stongue: ) |
