just reformatted...trying to think of what i need to get

so yeah, my computer was going down the tubes and i finally got around to backing up my music etc and reformatting
so yeah...i got a clean hard drive and a new install of xp, and i'm just trying to think of what i need to download again...any suggestions?
i got firefox so far, thats about it :p

still got a photoshop install handy, downloading nero, got vld player as well, downloading winamp atm also, but i actually don't know audition
whats audition anyways?

damn I have to do it too! although i have done it like a few months back it keeps ing up; like i'll be playing a game and he just freezes and then shuts down :whip:

I hate reformatting; its then when i realize how many programs i use

audition is an audio program. i use it to record from my stereo...

but i think it can do a lot more.

audition is like soundforge but not and less powerful.

It takes an image of your disc, similar to an *.iso file. Then it returns the disc to the saved state when you activate the image with Ghost. This is a good thing to do after you format because if any future problems arise, you can return your operating system to that state with the touch of a button.

By the way, hard disc images are pretty big (think at least 5GB) so have some storage ready :)
