How do you feel about the internet?

Crazy how much I've learned and seen from the internet, almost scary. People frequently take it for granted, but everyday I come on... I just think "wow this is amazing". TV's influence does not come close to the Internet's.
How much do you depend on the net, and how much do you use it? What would life be like for you without it?
As boring as the net can be sometimes, I have no idea what kind of person I would grow up to be without it. Pretty soon, the internet will completely cease being nerdy (if it hasn't already). |

I am only as smart as I am because of the internet. So damn useful...
An example I can give is my greenhouse. I researched about greenhouse styles and materials and built one using information from the internet. I designed it out in 3dsmax which was also obtained from the internet |

| I couldn't live without it. I cancelled my cable years ago, gave away my tv last year since it never gets turned on anyway. I get all my entertainment from the net. All the good tv shows are on bittorrent anyway. Tons of info available, I learned about reef aquariums before I set one up on the net, I taught myself to read schematics and build guitar pedals on the net, I taught myself 3dsmax on the net. I haven't bought a magazine in years, they're all useless now, anything in them was reported 2 months ago on the net. I could never go back. |
