NY has some of the finest independently owned delis, in the entire country. Why have Panera Bread? I tried Panera Bread, when I lived in FL, only because South FL has no delis, in my area - NONE. Most of the sandwiches at Panera are satisfactory at best, decent menu selection, and I enjoy the Starbucks-like atmosphere is has to offer, along with free WiFi - this is all that separates NY-style delis, from them.

What are you asking??
1.) Panera Bread is a good place to eat food because, as an American corporate branch that serves affordable food to the public, they are dedicated to serving the highest quality ingredients for the lowest cost to them so as to maximize their profit margin while paying their post-teen workers *just* enough to keep them from working at McDonald's or Taco Bell or Burger King but also *just* enough to make sure they still have to live with Mom & Dad.
2.) High quality fast food is good because they can serve sub-restaurant quality foods while not having to employ restaurant-quality service **AND** reap the rewards from restaurant quality prices!
3.) ...
4.) Profit!!! |

I really don't like Panera sandwiches and salads!
For some reason they're so "dry"... Don't know how to describe it, but that's the best I can come up with.. It's like you can immediately tell all their stuff is pre-processed, with chemicals and sweeteners and ... Just not natural..
But from what I've seen, a lot of girls like the ambience there. They come there with their girlfriends to chill. |
