Tonight I'm going round to see my mates Paul & Vicky, not something that'd be considered larging it but it will be a good night :)
But tomorrow I'm going to Gatecrasher to see Matt Hardwick do a 4hr set and I'm well looking forward to it, especially after last weekends dismal performance by Tiesto.

Well the whole thing was a shambles. He was supposed to start at 2am but by 02:20 he still hadn't turned up. They'd asked Talla to play on for longer but he wasn't too happy about it, and he had to leave by 2:30 anyway for another gig. So they were stuck coz Tiesto wasn't there, Talla was pissed right off and was about to leave, and Eddie Halliwell wasn't due on til 4am and so hadn't arrived from his earlier gig yet.
Anyways in the end Tiesto turned up about a minute before Talla was going to leave crasher with no music, and then proceeded to play it pretty hard for 2 hours (which pissed me right off coz I hadn't seen him for about 5 months and was looking forward to a good old-fashioned Tiesto uplifting set).
So I spent most of his set in the chillout room having a chit-chat, popping out occasionally to see if he'd got any better. I'd say most people there were very disappointed with him, not least because he blamed the earlier drama on his driver getting lost which to me is absolute bollox, you can't get lost on the way to crasher you just drive up the motorway until you reach sheffield, turn off onto the roundabout then you're there.
Anyway hopefully it was a one-off. |

Tonight me and my band got a gig at a local bare (our first gig ever). We only get 100 bucks for the 5 of us to split but it is still publicity. Then I get free drinks after that.
Tomorrow I am spinning at Club Emergency. I have to play a 3 and a half hour set and I haven't even got my new vynil I was planning on using so I'm getting very adgitated because I have already used my whole collection at that place since I am a resident there and spin every weekend. I need to find a new joint to play cause this is killin my cash flow always buyin new records. I have spent $900 in the past 3 weeks on just vynil. Anyways I am rambling so buh bye. |
