chocolate souffle

| any of you chefs out there ever make a chocolate souffle? I got a date tomorrow with a chocoholic and need to bust out the heavy guns. I can cook and bake but I've never made anything like a souffle before, any help is appreciated :D |

| Note: You need a souffle dish to make souffle. It really does make a difference. |

| go buy some at a local bakery or wherever you get that stuff.. Tell her/him you made it yourself, sit back and enjoy the reward. |

| I just bought four souffle ramekins for $4, dollar stores ftw! and yes they are difficult to make, the harder the dish the better the reward :) Bakeries are out of the question because a good souffle deflates within minutes after its taken out of the oven. Plus I'm cooking at home tonight with mario kart and wine and jimmy van m, can't do that at a bakery. |

making a souffle is fairly easy actually despite common misconception
you need to serve it on the spot and have the appropriate ramequins
I make souffles on a fairly regular basis |

well my test batch is in the oven, nothing to do now but wait. I got class now though so I can't be there when they come out... I just hope it works so I can replicate 'em tonight :D
how essential is the egg white whippage? I think I fsked that part up a bit. |
