lol it seriously took me like two hours last night
finally had it where i liked it and thought it was small enough, then i realized the file size limit is 20,000, not 200,000
that was frustrating :(

learn the box shape. google pentatonic scale for guitar. actually here

pentatonic/blues scale for E
e---------------------0-3--
B-----------------0-3------
G-------------0-2----------
D---------0-2--------------
A-----0-2------------------
E-0-3----------------------

i'm sure the above doesn't look right but whatev. the shape remains the same for any key. for example if you want to improvise over the key of "G" shift the shape up three frets (start the scale on the third fret of the E string.. "G")

practice improvising and you'll be able to do some crazy . listen to some blues and you'll get a lot of inspiration.

ultimate-guitar.com or olga are both fine, they got a load

cause i can browse through there for an hour and not find anythign remotely interesting
idoru
Emiliana Torrini - Sunnyroad
Moby - Erm... It's towards the end of Play. One of the tracks around Everloving (maybe it's Guitar Flute & String?). It's damn good. I don't have the CD on copied to my Powerbook so I couldn't tell you the title.

"Do you Remember" by Jack Johnson is fun to learn, and pretty easy.

whatever you do, DON'T rely on tab. it's the worst way to learn how to play a song. besides, most of the time the amateur transcribers are ing idiots and don't do it right. my suggestion: try to transcribe it by ear. play the same 30 seconds of the song you want to learn over and over again until you can get it. I think that's one of two skills that makes a musician a GOOD musician. transcription (#1) and improvisation (#2).
