anyone use this stuff? any recommendations?
lately I've noticed a lot of sites logging my IP, would make me feel a lot better knowing random people did not have that info |

You've just demonstrated your total lack of knowledge about IP.
Your IP for required by every communication you make over an IP (including the internet) network. There is no way of stopping your IP from being logged by a web server, or otherwise, apart from browsing through a proxy. And that proxy will have a record of your IP.
IPs are not supposed to be private.
You say lately, but this has been happening since you first 'flogged on' and fapped furiously at whatever it is that floats your boat.

Well I never really admitted to having any "IP knowledge."
And I am aware of programs that constantly switch your IP, well at least have heard about them.

if it's a site you visit it can very well keep your ip logged, track you with a cookie! and once you do the nasty they'Ll send the pop0 to see you busted like the hand in the cookie jar |

Your service provider assigns you an internet IP. Your DHCP server assigns you one on a local area network. |
