The two notes in between are just two quick successive notes. You could even follow the 24 theme with "There's nothing I fear" and it would sound almost perfect.

i can't believe some of you don't know that 24 has a theme song... it gets stuck in my head ALL the time.
watch this video to hear the theme song.. you'll probably recognize it right away if you've ever watched 24.
it gets a little epic, but the melody is there.
edit // and you must be smoking crack if you think 24 theme = My Heart Will Go On ... or maybe every song that uses those same 2 notes in that order is a ripoff of Celine Dion. she should really speak with her lawyers.
