Thanks for your input, but I used "to do" for a specific reason.

Ah yes, well. The first one is much less assertive, assuming we can just get a garden because we want a garden. The second option is more Yoda-like in that we have made our desire clear to create the garden ourselves, because gardens don't just come out of nowhere.
