floss more.
I haven't been to the dentist is 6 years and I just had my teeth cleaned. Dam I hate the metal scraper they use to remove the tartar. This should be a technique they use on terrorist suspects. |

i'm the same way. i dont go every year but the few times i have gone, i never had any problems. never had or going to get wisdom teeth either. i guess i was blessed with good dental genes or something i dunno.
i haven't been in like 3 years myself, but i floss on a regular basis and i use the nasty gold listerine. lol in fact, i keep dental floss in my purse. i can't stand the feeling of meat or food stuck between my teeth, it drives me insane.
i've had one cavity my whole life and it was in a baby tooth that fell out. |

I just love the feeling of dentist cleaned teeth, nothing beats that. I, too, carry floss in my purse, always.
OMG I'm not the only one!!! I don't have my wisdom teeth and was told I'll never get them either. My teeth grew at a slow rate when I was younger so at a certain age my baby teeth stopped coming in, I have 4 left, and my adult teeth are small too, well smaller than normal sized teeth. |

i must have a bad dental gene.
i'm not looking forward to next week, i have to go to an oral surgeon to have a tooth extracted. it was a tooth that never came down after i got my wisdom teeth out. |

you are lucky not to have the wisdom tooth problem. with me, i didn't think i would get them some years ago, but when they grew in it was painful. i didn't tell anyone because i thought i would have to get them out.
fast forward to last year when the dentist told me i should have them removed and fast forward to march 12, 2007 when i had oral surgery to get them out. |
