well last night was game 1 of the stanley cup finals, and although i live in ottawa, i hate the senators with a firey passion, and the ducks are a close third, behind toronto... montreal ftw...
so in honour of the sport i have decided to cheer for my two favorite underdogs this year. i shall be watching every game sporting my old whalers or jets jerseys.... just to piss off my roomates who are die hard sens fans...
last night i got beligerently drunk, ate alot of wings, and started cheering on teemu selanne who still plays for the ducks now, but he was a first round draft pick for the jets....
i even have tix for game 3 at the scotiabank place in ottawa, and im gonna wear my jets jersy just to piss people off..... |

we're not french we're quebecois mon hosti!...... unlike our distant relatives in france... we have never surrendered, not even the dead debate of sovreignty lol....... hell by cuisine alone we are closer to the brits than the french.... cheese gravy and deep fried potatoes? poutine is the quebec equivalent of fish and chips.... or bangers and mash.... |
