Anyone here go fishing every once in a while? Went this morning since it's almost full moon and stayed for about 30 minutes at a nearby pond till I went to work, caught 3 4-5lb bass, 1 snapped my line and looked twice as large as the one in the pic. :( :mad:
Who else enjoys fishing?

Yeah fishing is fun. Never ate my fish though, always put them back.

oh.. i used to go fishing all the time but i never caught anything.
maybe it was because i didn't care.
me and my mates would grab our gear, take a boat out to the bridge connecting the island to the mainland and just chill.
throw out some lines and spark up a joint or two with the sea breeze blowing in your face. nice.
a feeling of doing something yet doing nothing at the same time. |

| i used to fish alot as a kid when i lived in the mountains.. where i live now the only water around is irrigation, so it's not worth it for me to get a fishing license.. sad. |

| There are more times that I walk away empty handed rather than catching some nice fish. It doesn't really bother me too much, I don't eat fish. I just love the act of fishing. |

| even if i don't catch anything (that's rare, mind you :D ), there's still something rewarding about spending the day by the water, relaxing with family or friends, taking it easy. |

those are about 3 lbs each unless they are spawning.. then maybe 3.5lbs
nice eating fish though.
Need the girth measurement to be completely sure :)
