| just as long as there's not too much pattern going on in both the tie and pants and/or shirt, then you're all good. also, as long as u don't stray too far from the general color scheme, then you're all good too. |

| metallics are in and same color shirt as tie, made famous by who wants to be a millionaire. don't pick a busy shirt and a busy tie. i prefer a plain shirt with a tie that has a little pizazz but not obnoxious. |

striped/patterned shirt - solid color tie
solid color shirt - patterned tie
keep the colors within the same tone at the very least! |

only girls can do that..leave it up to a guy and we'd make everyone dizzy.
i actually prefer the no-tie with button down and blazer look. i actually attend all my formal business meetings like that, it gives a new sense of age to normal professional business attire. Then again, I'm not an account exec and more of a techy |
