seeking job issues

Here is the issue
1.about a month ago I quit my job of almost 2 years.
"Koehler Instrument Company" Waste of place to work for the rest of my life so I quit
2. I take a break for a few days and think oh summer is here. That means time to relax and do my valet $$ job because I due well like
$20-30$/hr but this is just weekend so I am making each week just as much or more as I would in my previuos employment. Thats how bad this placed sucked.
3. I started to apply (monster, craig list) for new jobs so I found this job and gave it a whirl. Architect small firm in NYC. Guy says he will 18-20$/hr but NO BENEFITS!!! So my father is saying ask for more $$ to stay on Guardian from my previous employment(400$/month)
4. Here is the kicker. I get a call at 4:30 about a job in Deer Park which is close to Stony brook where I am getting my masters and near a freinds house i could live and go to work easily. AND THEY SAID THEY WOULD PAY UP TO 55K FULL TIME WITH BENEFITS. Problem is person called was job hunter and just wanted to let me know to send my resume to this company. So I would love this interview but I hope I get some answer by Friday why....see next #
5.!!!! The d00d from #3 calls me at 5;12pm and says I can start next wednesday!!!!:wtf: :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: So I say I will give you a call friday to make sure if I want or not but the job from #4 I def need because that would be the ultimate perfect scenrio.
CORE VERSION: I look for job #1(ok pay/no benefits). Another better job #2(higher pay & benefits) calls me but no fianl word yet. Job #1 wants me for work.
I def could not do school if I take the nyc job also

| Call the recruiter and ask him if he can expedite the interview process. tell him you have a job offer in hand, but you are interested in his company. See what he has to say. you can also call up the other company and talk to them about not getting any benefits and seeking more time to take a decision. They might increase your pay rate. |

Yeah now i see the ball is in my court. Thats how it should be because I hate when employers say oh we will call you and you hear nothing. Now I feel more up beat in this case. I would live the deer park place so I will most likely tomorrow talk about it too both parties about this situation because I don't want to screw anyone over if it is not needed. But like in that movie how high "I need MONEY" |
