Fever, Chill, Cold and Headache

So, I've developed a fever, a bit of chill, cold and headache. I'm feeling miserable atm. what is the best home medicine you can recommend ? I popped a couple of aspirins and tried to sleep for 3-4 hours with a blanket in 70 F and my chills have reduced. but all other symptoms persist  |

oh man, i just got over the worst cold...i was convinced it was strep throat, but when i went to the doctor, he said it was just viral.
take acetaminophen for your fever, i think it's more effective in helping fevers. |

highest i ever had was 105. it hurt to shut my eyes, cause it felt like the inside of my eyelids were on fire. :( |

i've been sick with some form of what your describing the entire spring semester. when the symptoms get that bad all I would do is take 2 or 3 capfulls of NyQuil sometime in the early evening. Clear your schedule, because thats going to knock you out like elephant tranquilizer.
Although, I am a big dude, so depending on your size, say <200, then consider takin just 2 capfulls.

| N-acetylcysteine, megadoses of vitamin C, and zinc supplements. Won't do much for the symptoms but you'll get over it a lot faster. |
