Salvia leaves

One of my plants has been outgrowing the others very nicely. I'm not sure why exactly, as they are all genetically identical. I went outside yesterday to examine it. I was trying to lift the pot for closer examination but discovered that her roots had grown through the bottom of the pot and into the soil she was sitting on. Well time for a repot! I repotted her today and decided to measure her leaves. They are exceptionally long. Leaves this large don't come around very often. Even Siebert's website says they can grow only up to about 9 inches long.

The plant itself is about 25" high

If they don't flower, you aren't a pro. |

I recently acquired a H/W clone. I may do some breeding between it and these blossers. Who knows... |

so, do you just smoke the leaves or what ? where did you get the seeds for this plant ? |

I don't personally consume them. They are just beautiful plants.
Seeds are pretty damn rare and then only a small % are viable. I received a live plant in the mail back in '05. They are propagated by taking cuttings and rooting them. |

lol, what's the point of growing a drug plant if you don't consume it ?
Unless ofcourse, you sell it. :wtf: |

:stongue: Was my plan before legislators decided to introduce legislation banning it in a lot of states, including GA. Not a single legislator voted against the bill... stupid . Fortunately for me it won't be illegal to grow them for ornamental purposes
(Now is the time to acquire a salvia plant if you ever intend on growing one. By now I mean this month) |
