Don't want to sound all girly and all, but all I wanna say in this thread is that the people who have chosen to gather in this forum are all nothing short of amazing individuals. Every one of you has made the TrancEaddict experience so much sweeter, because I've realised that this board has become so much more than just a forum anymore.
In the "Music Discussion" thread, we have someone going "Hi, this is my first post", and when I click on refresh after a while I'm going to see 2 pages of replies welcoming him on board.
In the "DJ Booth", I was having real trouble posting up a sample transition I did myself coz the server I was hosting it on was down. The next day I checked, this guy whom I don't even know has taken the effort to wait until the server has resumed, downloaded my and hosted it up on his own server for the others to check it out, comments included.
I see people taking so much effort to check out unknown tracks that fellow TAs attach to their threads in the "Unknown Tracks" forum and I feel guilty for not doing more.
I'm physically too far away to attend these NEC and Dutch Dimension gigs on a regular basis, but I know UKTAs and Dutch TAs gather round in these boards to party together whenever it is possible. They wear their TA T-shirts, parade them around, take pictures and come back to post it up for us to see.
I see the surprise birthday party that TAs staying around each other has thrown for Robby, and I feel a sense of pride that I'm a part of this community, abeit in a virtual way.
And to top it all off, I believe DevantS has found the angel of his life right here in these boards. I'm sure there must be more.
Tell me, guys, that this has become more than just a board. :) |

GROUP HUG!!!!
Hehe, anyways, yes, this forum sure is something...unlike my previous 'net home, the IGN GCN CB's, here almost everyone respects eachother, and no one is trying to have some sort of identity or to "fit in" and become popular. I like this place a lot...I just wish we all lived closer, so all the TA's could party together ;) |

agree...this place is really more than a board for me...
some1 whom I dont know b4 got my icq, and sent me a 700 MB file, ppl keep sharing their files on ftp, and most important: ppl are sharing their thoughts and feelings in a very respectful way...
thanks everyone !!! |

yeah! while i feel that i spend prolly more time than i should here, and specifically in the Chill Out...its for a reason. despite the fact that this is just the internet, and just a forum, its really more than that. most people here dont know each other, but i think we all feel a connection - even if we dont know each others real names! its almost a shame were worldwide...i wish we could all get together! heh, peace love and chicken grease/ |

WERD !
ya this place is very much more than just a message board.
its more like an international community online and it prooves a point too, that all of us here are from different backgrounds, different religions, different countries, we all represent each race of the human species, each sex of the human species and for the most part we all get on with each other, we help each other, we respect each other, we learn from and educate each other, we live in peace with other, no other community can boast that, NONE can say they have what we have here and I for one am damn proud of this community we have here on tranceaddict.com.
So THANK YOU to every single member of the tranceaddict forums for making this the single best community to exist anywhere :)
