A quick thought in the mind of a TA.

Imagine your self in 20 years when your in your 40's and 50's will you still have this love for 'trance music' or is it all in the mind.
will your taste in music differ to something more differnt.

Will you still be going out at 50 clubbing at a rave. if you think the DJ/producers are growing old aswell and usually stop producing after 40years Max. If you look at your parents music interest and your grnadparents or whatever, do you think that they listenned to that music when they were younger or did a change happen, maybe a pysical change in the hormones. ?? because nobody was born into loving trance it had to originate into a change in your mind to like this music era.

Its not Music we like its the other people who like it as we a family and the music is our food.

Well if you look at rock, most peeps in their 50's etc still hang on to the days of hendrix. So i imagine when i get to that age i will be enjoying the evolved version of trance, and i imagine most of the producers will still be going.

But lets wait and see :)

Yeah, if you think about it, our parents all listen to "oldies", or most of them do. I mean, my parents listen to oldie rock like Skynerd, Segar, etc. Cus thats what they grew up listening to. I think that we'll still be listening to some form of Trance.

I think that untill you reach a certain age (lets say 25) you musical tastes are still evolving. You roll with what is good at that time, whether it's mainstream or underground.

Once you hit a certain age though, you get pretty set into what you like and all the new stuff that comes out is "just noise" (what did your parents call Trance when they first heard it?)

I'm hoping to always like the newest music, but I know that I won't.

Maybe my becoming a producer will halp that, I'll have to stay with what music is popular to make a living. But I know that when I hit about 27-28, or something I'll stop liking the new music, lol. Happens to everyone.
