hey listen guys i know its possible but can anyone explain how to burn movies onto cd so my dvd player can play em. for example i just downloaded What lies beneath.avi. how can i make it playable on dvd? |

Well. first you'll need a dvd writer (cd writer wont work). That should come with some software (not too sure if it'll do the avi thing, I think thats illegal). You'll also need some dvd's.
I think you'll need to download some kind of software of the internet to do an avi-dvd conversion.
I may be wrong.

hi ya mate
u can definitely use cd's in ur dvd player if it can play cdr's and cdrw's.
all u need to do is have the latest version of nero installed, with the vcd encoder, and u can just drag and drop the avi file into the vcd window when nero sets all of the template up. its very easy, trust me. u can create a vcd or a super vcd (svcd) for much better quality. svcd might not play in older dvd standalones though.
beware, the re-encoding process which nero carries out may take several hours.

has all the guides you need and info to convert them over.There is also a guide there, i suggest you check that out to find your dvd player to make sure it can play svcds/ vcds. |
