| I'm unable to do so due to the medications i take. I'd do so if needed though, it really doesn't bother me at all with needles. |

i've donated a lot - and i enjoy doing it....i've even gotten the phone call a few weeks later saying that my blood helped save a life...that was a pretty sweet thing.
i've got A- blood, which if you have neg blood you can only receive neg blood...so i'm a bit on the highly requested list. not as high as O- , but still my blood type is in a bit of a demand.

there are blood donations every week in my school and you get a free movie pass. i always try to go but forget :/
first time (and only time) i donated blood was in HS, good excuse to get out of class. the nurse said "ok just dont do anything crazy for a day" but me being 18 and invincible decided to eat my cookie and then go to basketball practice. bad idea, i fell like 2 times in the midst of a fast break... then i decided it was time to call my parents, get them to pick up my car and take me home:D |

I donated once and almost passed out. Dr. drew blood for bloodwork last year and the same thing happend. I don't know if it's due to my lower blood pressure or my low resting heart rate but it's not a fun experience at all.
Wish I could donate. :( |
