I need some information regarding PS3 and XBOX 360

One of these two systems is going to be an XMAS present and I just need to know whether or not the XBOX 360 is capable of playing HD DVD's?
I know that the PS3 can play Blu-Ray HD discs but can it also play regular HD DVD's as well, or just the Blu-Rays? |
