is there any way to find a private/restricted number?

| Ok, this keeps calling me up and hanging up under a RESTRICTED or PRIVATE number and i cant see what his real number is. Is there any way i can find out whose been calling me? :conf: anyone had a similar situation? :whip: |

| Im not sure if it will work but on my current phone i can set to accept calls only from the ones in my phone book |

you may be able to call your phone comany and see if they can try to blacklist the number or something.
i'd call customer service, see what they can do |

| i have heard stories of people calling customer service and successfully blocking a number. But most of the time they end up telling you to call the cops? |

| Depending on your phone service, they should provide you a code you can do yourself for your phone NOT to accept blocked calls ( *_ _ ) . Also, there is another code in which any harrassing calls will direct them to your local police. |
