'spose my SO wouldn't like it. it's that i ed over some girl and i've been carrying guilt about it for years and i just learned she has a myspace account.
i didn't start the thread looking for advice, but the question just arose in me. whether it's ever a god idea. |

Are you still friends, so to say, with these old flames? Contacting lost friends, or people you haven't talked to in a little while is fine. If my boyfriend wants to contact his, I say by all means, go for it. |

| Fuh realz. Old significant others are still PEOPLE. It's always important to make sure you still know them as a person, and not an object you used to date. Tell the girl how you feel, and if anyone has a problem with that, they're just frickin' crazy. |

I just ran into the same situation not too long ago. Found a REALLY old gf on mypsace and started chattin it up. After not too long she decides to come out and visit me! [From Chicago to LA mind you!] Not only that, but she stayed with me AND my current gf with whom I live.
Turned out being really cool though. It was neat to get to know someone that you knew as a kid, as an adult.
So I guess it can be a good thing? As long as you and your current SO are in a solid relationship with good lines of communication, it should be no issue and could end up pretty neat. |
