I just finished lecturing my best friend about why he's losing so many of his friends, me included. It's because he's always broke. I work and to me every dollar is important. I don't mind spending 3-6 dollars on him at the bar. 12 the most. But when that happens each and every time we hang out, it gets to me. And he sees that when he calls and I say, "Eh, not tonight. Maybe next week."
It's not you, I told him. It's your brokeness. If you had money you'd be a cooler guy. Do you know how lame it makes you look when you go out all the time with no money. You can't keep mooching off your friends, we hate that.
So tonight I'm going to a house party and he's talking about being depressed about "drama". I don't even buy it anymore. His idea of drama is when his girlfriend won't return his calls or texts. ing I don't care. Tells me he needs to get out of the house and hang. I swear to god if he had money like I do, we'd be way cooler. He's a cool guy, that's why he's my best friend, but the little things get big and it really could cost us the friendship.
That's the backstory to my philosophy. Money is everything. Money gives you power, it gets you women, gets you women because money is proof that you're successful. Oh my god I know it's been said before, money makes the world go round. But to admit it to yourself rather than just say it will change your life. Well I hope it changes his life.

| Or how about you keep hanging out with him because he's your friend but don't pay for his all the time? Every try that? Yea money may buy you a lot of things, but it does not buy you real, good friends. |

hes a good lad but he spends more money on him than than he does on himself and the guy is obviously playing on this.
Would you fork out 40 notes for your mate and 30 for yourself every time you went out? |
