is it just me, or are laundromats a breeding ground for weird ?
the one i went to back when i was living in NY had clown pictures plastered all over the walls. i went there maybe two times before i decided it was worth it to drive back across the river to my mom's house and do laundry there instead.
my current apartment doesn't have laundry (this is a first for me in years) so i go to a laundromat about 2 blocks away. i've seen a crackhead couple smoking cigarettes while their baby sits and cries in a stroller, one guy threatening the owner because the machine stole his change, visit from the cops on numerous occasions, drunk bums sitting and watching prime-time TV... the list goes on.
i actually don't mind it because it's entertaining, but i feel like my clothes are only getting dirtier. |

That's prime time on its own.
As long as you don't see someone wearing your clothes or trying to sell you your own clothes, it's all good. |

There's this one by me that always has this same drunk guy sitting out front. He always yells at random people on the sidewalk. |

I have no idea. :conf:
Maybe the fact that it was the first book I ever finished, so it kinda stuck with me. |

Last time I was close to a laundromat, I was staying at some hotel... there were a bunch of bums laying around, so I dared one to beat the out of another sleeping bum for $5 and he did. best $5 I ever spent. Those guys faught for a good 2 minutes, lol. |
