Do you have one?... You know, that thing where someone is talking to you and you're not really listening, so you're all, "what?" And then you stop and *mental rewind* and realize what they said.
I sort of thought it was standard equipment for all models, but then I was talking to this girl and she doesn't have that capability, so I was curious how many of you out there in internetworldland can (or can't) do that.
I've got it. That happens to me a lot.
It's handy, but the downside is that you can go back over stuff YOU said, too, and that usually results in a lot of cringing....A lot of cringing if you're me. |

It depends on if it is something I actually attempt to commit to memory. If it is in the context of my job, then no. I don't pay attention to 90% of what people say on the phone. lol |

its funnier when you don't rewind and make the person talking to you feel insignificant. |

Yep, comes in really handy when you're sitting in class zoning out. |

No, I'm more of an active listener. |

Honestly I'm not sure what the point of this thread is. Is "mental rewind" supposed to be a good trait? Because it sounds plain rude/douchey/retarded to me. |

Yeah, I really can't stand people like this. It's called being slow, and that's precisely what it is. |

I do appreciate the thinly veiled attempt at bragging though. |

You have to appreciate an optimist who can take being slow and make it sound like an advantage. |
