Crispin Glover

You all may have seen this before... if not, even 20 years later it still cracks me up. Crispin Glover is one eccentric motherf*cker... I love his little bit parts in movies here and there.

Here he is on Letterman in 1987, and he MUST be ed up on something, my guess would be mushrooms. I don't know but it's goddamn hilarious

Maybe it's because I was born in 87', but I didn't find that funny...:(

haha... no I mean it's funny how messed up he is and how uncomfortable he made Letterman

He's borderline psychotic. Every role he gets involved in somehow gets 'Gloverfied' in which the character he plays winds up being just as uncannily bizarre as he is.

In case you (and others) didn't know, he was in Friday the 13th Part 4 back in 84 (?), in which he played, like dozens of other people did, a teen who unsuspectingly wanders into Crystal Lake only to get hacked up, only he has to go down as one of the weirdest teens to ever be featured/killed in that franchise.

Take a look at this absolutely hilarious dance scene.

I'm sure the directors had in mind for him to do some kind of bad dance routine, but I'm sure it wasn't meant to resemble anything he did here.

My girlfriend has that album! It's one insane track after another.

Take a look at this stated premise of the album:

"All words and lyrics point toward THE BIG PROBLEM. The solution lay within the title; LET IT BE. Crispin Hellion Glover wants to know what you think these nine things all have in common. Call 213-464-5053."

I think that hotline was actually active until a couple of years ago.

your girlfriend has that album?????? how did that happen? :haha:

By the way, you should really watch the commentary to Back to the Future. The people who are actually doing it remark about how Glover kept trying to make changes to his role, despite the director telling him they were bad ideas. I think he would eventually ignore his remarks, and just wind up doing it his way anyway.

As for his film career in general, he says he alternates between doing one major and doing one he produces/directs himself, his reasoning is that his major roles provide the necessary funds to execute his own projects.

I actually met him during the premier to his film "What Is It," that opened at the Castro Theater, in San Francisco. He sat down for Q & A and photographs on a one-to-one basis, and he generally seemed like a pretty nice, mellow guy, despite the fact that I think no one wound up understanding what is movie was even about once they finished watching it.

Yes, what is it? Who the f*ck knows.

Strangely enough, she's a huge Crispin Glover fan, and has embarked to watch every single one of his movies (this was the only way I could get her to sit through Friday the 13th Part 4, by the way).

Still, no one should have that album!

I liked his cameo as Andy Warhol in The Doors... I remember watching it thinking "holy is that George McFly?" I'm jealous that you got to meet him. I'd love to have a photo with that guy

I've got to scan for you the autograph he signed in his book for me (yeah, I bought his book- don't buy it if you're expecting a book); his handwriting is just freakish.
