Met a girl at work; looking for TA advice

I met this girl at work one day on the stairs outside. she had crutches and was by herself so I said hello and introduced myself. Found out she had a torn ACL and that is why she had crutches. Well I thought this girl was pretty so I started talking to her some more. Turned out that the first day we met she had a boyfriend. I was like damn why do all the pretty girls gotta have a bf.
A week; passes
we kept talking and one day I see her looking sad so I ask her what is wrong; she says I just broke up with my bf. This was this past saturday.
sO am thinking wow what is going on. I asked her out to lunch that day but she never called me.
3 more days pass
Now I went to a chinese food place and got a fortune cookie; it said, "Stop searching forever, Happiness is right next to you." I immediately thought of her. Sure enough I go to work the next day and have that fortune in my pocket. She is at lunch and when she comes back she sits right next to me. I was thinking "What is going on here?"
I talk to her some more and tell her I have something I want to share and I gave her the fortune from last night. At first she did not read it and then right as she left work she finally did. She left and told me she will talk to me tomorrow.
Yesterday was tomorrow
Now have her number; Should I call her up today after I get off work which is gonna be late to go do something? Also any ideas on what I could do (Be respectful here please) with a girl who has a torn ACL?

Start off slow but make sure she notices that you have an interest in her. Don't be obnoxious, obsessive or too bold. be modest, and if the opportunity arises ask her if she wants to have some Chinese

also the fortune cookie thing guaranteed that your best chance of ever seeing her is if she has a cat. You might have been too weird to be in the friend zone though.
Grown men say what they have to say and don't give girls fortune cookies while hoping to be loved.

i'll try to be a little more serious in this post.
she just got out of a relationship which could mean.
1.all that she might want is a and chuck rebound. you work with her, and have shown signs of clingy weirdo. she would rather play and chuck with a guy she doesn't have to see every day and get weird emails about how the clouds in the sky reminded you about how nice and fluffy her heart/tampons are.
2.she wants nothing but to be alone right now. when a girl just breaks up with someone i don't think they want to be swept right off their feet the next day. (your method was for this anyway cyrano de bergafail.)
3.she isn't done with her boyfriend. sometimes people break up but don't really break up.
the signs she has shown you include but not exclude:
1.1.0 she would have called if she wanted to see you (not interested)
1.1a if she would have thought you to be romantic (refer to 1.1.0 )
1.1b she does not want to have lunch with you (refer to 1.1.0)
possible options to remedy this include but do not exclude:

5.showing up at her door with a dozen roses, a faberge egg with her picture on it, a sky writer that puts both of your names in a heart in the sky for the world to see, and a heartfelt marriage proposal.
