There's water on the moon!

One ton of lunar soil will supposedly yield about a liter of water.
This image of the moon is from NASA's Moon Mineralogy Mapper on the Indian Space Research Organization's Chandrayaan-1 mission. It is a three-color composite of reflected near-infrared radiation from the sun, and illustrates the extent to which different materials are mapped across the side of the moon that faces Earth. Small amounts of water and hydroxyl (blue) were detected on the surface of the moon at various locations. This image illustrates their distribution at high latitudes toward the poles.

| if there is water then there could be loads more things up there. I bet somehow the americans lay claim to the moon when they find out it has oil or cheeseburgers on it. |

Man are you dumb. I'm an American and that's not what I'd do. If we find other up there I'd rather just make all people of all the other nations go up there and live and then we can just have the world to ourselves. Ameriworld. Earthmerica. Working titles of course. |
