I hate to tell you this, but there are several parts of the first, and I'm sure second movie, that aren't 100% authentic.
At the risk of ruining it for you: It's just a story - it's not real! |

Duh.
I was just commenting on how the cut effects looked fake, i.e. made with a computer rather than with physical video. I know that the movie itself is fictional, of course.
