I watched it tonight and I hate to admit it I liked the movie. Its not the first time I've seen it but has been such a long time ago it was almost new for me.
This time I realized the head doctor from Scrubs plays the FBI chief. He's basically the Scrubs character with a badge. He's better suited as a doctor. He isn't believable, over playing the hard ass chief role and coming off as winy/annoying instead of tough by the book guy.
Believe it or not Gary Busey plays a good guy in this one as Keanu veteran partner. He still has his marbles and does a good job.
Keanu surprisingly acts well too, though its shocking how young he is. A funny thing I noticed, he plays a FBI agent from the mid west, although he has heavy Cali/surfer accent.
Patrick Swayze oddly enough plays a likable bad guy. He does a good job too but its sad knowing he would die of cancer later down the road.
Despite a ridiculous plot of surfer bank robbers its still very entertaining. I attribute the success to the acting, well paced story line, and interesting characters.

Lol, it must be more than 10 years since I watched that. It's ok, I guess. Nothing special though. It has the guy from the Chilli Peppers in it too, right?
