| Youtube's got a switch to convert the background of videos to black...why can't they do this all the time rather than just for one day? Looks better imo anyway. |

| Thought: The lifespan of a bulb is often dictated by how many times its turned on and off. Thus, Earth Hour is reducing the lifespan of the bulbs being switched off meaning the bulbs need to be replaced sooner which uses up energy and resources. |
