I now know that in lieu of travel cases, the original packaging can be used in a pinch, and that creating a facebook event does not guarantee ticket sales for your actual event.

Well, he seems like a nice enough kid. I can't really make fun of him because I was too chicken- to hustle and try to find gigs when I was in college.
My takeaways are:
1. Do college kids seriously look that young? I suddenly feel ancient.
2. At least there are some nice people attempting to DJ in college. I remember when I was in college, everybody wanted to be a drum n' bass DJ, and they were all twats (and most of them still are). This kid may look young, but at least he's sincere.
EDIT: I decided to "like" the kid's DJ page on Facebook. It'll be fun to see. He'll likely end up making posts in about 4 years to the tune of "Well, not much time to DJ now that I have a kid" or "I got my first internship! No new gigs, though".

Awww. He seems like a nice enough lad.

note to self: never go to Milwaukee.

good for him.
needs some consistency with his programming though.
4:59 was the only real "opening" tune i heard (note almost everyone dancing at this point, but not really to the others)
that said, there's locals here that get booked all the time that still think "opening" is banging it out at 128 tech house from the first track
TranceArmstrong
yeah i felt pretty bad for him when he started talking about having to sell tix and paying for parking...
DJ PJ and MLE are pretty epic names :wtf:

My impression was that he was on before a bigger name in that room. However, seeing that the camera switched around to the different rooms and I couldn't tell if he was on in every shot of the room he was playing, I could be wrong. Anyway, I felt that whoever was in that room was playing some pretty intense tracks for the amount of people that were there.
