I lived 3 blocks away from the World Trade Center and I moved home with my sister 3 weeks before the attacks. Now check this out, she kept having dreams of a plane crashing in front of her and just barely missing her when she moved to New York. In August of 2001 they offered her to stay one more year to keep working in the financial center in the World Trance Center area. She felt like it was about time for her to come home so she moved home 3 weeks before and I came with her. The when September 11th happened we were just shocked. We lost a few friends on that day, many of them escaped. We heard stories from people that we knew who were always on time, that day missed the train by 5 mins. which saved their lives.
But honestly, nothing is weirder than when you saw pictures of the aftermath, saw the place where I went for breakfast, or met my sister for lunch and sat down in-between the towers, going to eat at Krispy Kream...all gone.
NYC became my second home, and seeing everything unfolding and knowing you couldn't do anything about it, was probably the worst feeling I ever had to endure. My sister and I lost a friend of ours that worked in the office where the first plane hit.
I'm going to leave you with this, when you have people calling you and telling you, "You won't believe this, body parts everywhere, people jumping out of buildings, people diving into the infested river to swim across to Brooklyn, this is horrifying." You tell me, what could you do? |

the people jumpin from the buildings were the most disturbing...i was in CT at UConn during that morning but a friend of mine works on wall street and said that he came out for a cigarette when people around him started gettin frantic...he said that he saw the second plane hit the tower and he also watched people plunging to their death...he said it was so unreal and unbelievable that it began to feel like a dream, one that he would wake up out of any moment...but the horror began to set in and the rest is history...its ashame that people retaliate against the US government this way...just a damn shame...  |

wow that was a quick reply...hehe..u wanna know something else that was disturbing...i love the US but i know we're not as innocent as we pretend to be...shiet, CNN news, during the whole ordeal, began to show footage of muslims in afghanistan celebrating on tha streets and they reported that this was the reaction after hearing bout the planes crashing into "the great towers"...wtf is that about...only to find out later that the video footage was recorded several months or years earlier...anyhow, it just goes to show how sad this world is sometimes...
and has anyone seen the new freedom commercials where the ad shows how it would be if america wasn't america....kinda disturbin and eery...in my opinion, after september 11, the media and the US gov't doesn't need to fuel the anger and hate...the people are in full support of the govenment...i say this without doubt cuz even the non-violence groups in the US who don't want to see war or anymore violence realize that what the terrorists did was disgustingly wrong...innocent civilians died fo a war they didn't even know they were fighting...finish off the TALIBAN and hang Osama Bin Laden by his ballz so we could hit him like a pinata...lolz..that would be too fukin much fun... |

what i heard was that the people you saw celebrating in afghanistan on the streets and shooting in the air only were so excited because they were told to do so,in reward they got priceless cakes and sth. else...
what makes me upset most is that this in OBL is still alive and somewhere in the hills in Afghanistan...why is it so hard to find him? i mean this earth isnt that huge...and he must be definetively still in Afghanistan or Pakistan...send 100.000 Soldiers in and i think it wont be very difficult anymore to find him...
another suggestion of mine could be that the us secret service / CIA already knows where he is but doesnt want to catch him right now for reasons i only can imagine...perhaps they want to keep up the war to show the rest of the world that america still is powernation #1...war means earning money...to keep up sending bombers and soldiers is some kind of motivation...
but im not really sure.... |
